The
Cyber Security Authority (CSA), in collaboration with Italy’s National
Cybersecurity Competence Centre, Cyber 4.0, has held a high-level stakeholder
workshop aimed at strengthening the implementation of Ghana’s National
Cybersecurity Policy and Strategy (NCPS).
The workshop in Accra focused on three key pillars:
raising awareness of the NCPS, enhancing operational capabilities, and
advancing international cooperation in cybersecurity.
Discussions during the engagement produced a series of
recommendations that will be consolidated into a report outlining actionable
measures to support Ghana’s collaboration with Italy in implementing the
national cybersecurity framework.

The event brought together senior
government officials and international partners, including the Minister for
Communication, Digital Technology and Innovation, Samuel Nartey George, the
Ambassador of Italy to Ghana, H.E. Laura Ranalli, CSA Director General Mr.
Divine Selease Agbeti, and Cyber 4.0 Director Mr. Matteo Lucchetti.
Also present were members of the
Joint Cybersecurity Committee of Ghana, representatives from the industry
forum, and other key stakeholders in the cybersecurity ecosystem.
Officials
noted that the partnership underscores Ghana’s commitment to strengthening
cyber resilience through international cooperation, capacity building, and
coordinated policy implementation.
