Guinea
has launched a new initiative aimed at accelerating the adoption of artificial
intelligence across its private sector, as part of broader efforts to
strengthen economic competitiveness and job creation.
The
“AI Xcelerate” programme, led by the Confédération Générale des Entreprises de
Guinée in partnership with the Organisation Internationale des Employeurs and
international technology partners, seeks to equip businesses with practical
AI-driven solutions for everyday operations.
Rose
Pola Pricemou, Advisor to the President in charge of New Technologies and
Artificial Intelligence, participated in the launch event and contributed to
panel discussions focused on the role of AI in enhancing human capital and
supporting economic transformation.

The
programme is designed to support business leaders, managers, and young
professionals by facilitating the integration of AI tools into business
processes, thereby improving productivity and innovation capacity.
The
launch event brought together government stakeholders, members of the business
community, and international partners, all aligned on the objective of
strengthening Guinea’s economic fabric and expanding employment opportunities.
Officials
highlighted that the initiative builds on Guinea’s existing progress in
artificial intelligence, including its adoption of the AI for Development
(AILA) approach supported by the United Nations Development Programme, which
informed the country’s national AI roadmap for 2026–2035.
