The Ministry of Higher
Education and Scientific Research of Guinea, in partnership with the United
Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Ministry of Posts,
Telecommunications, and the Digital Economy (MCENI), has officially launched
the TREMPLIN project.

The program is designed to
accelerate the digital transformation of public services, foster innovation,
and develop a national artificial intelligence ecosystem within Guinea’s higher
education sector. It also aims to strengthen the skills of young talents and
support research initiatives with tangible societal impact.
Dr. Diaka Sidibé, Minister
of Higher Education and Scientific Research, emphasized that TREMPLIN will
position digital technology as a strategic lever for national development while
modernizing the higher education system and promoting inclusive, sustainable
growth.

Through this initiative,
Guinea seeks to enhance human capital and create a framework for
innovation-driven progress across its academic and technological landscape.
