Ministry
of Digital Transition and Technological Innovation has intensified efforts to
digitise the country’s education system following a high-level meeting between
Minister Djibril Ouattara and the Minister of National Education, N'Guessan
Koffi.
The
meeting, held on March 19, focused on strengthening collaboration between the
two ministries to implement reforms aimed at making the education system more
efficient, transparent, and accessible through digital technologies.
Central
to the discussions were two key initiatives: the E-Government Strengthening
Support Project (PARAE), which seeks to modernise administrative procedures and
streamline daily school management, and the Digital Acceleration Project in
Côte d’Ivoire (PADCI), designed to fast-track the country’s broader digital
transformation and reinforce its national digital ecosystem.
The
joint effort reflects the government’s strategy to position digital technology
as a core driver of education sector reform. Authorities say the initiative
will enhance service delivery across schools while improving access to
information and administrative processes for students, teachers, and families.
Officials
noted that the collaboration underscores a growing emphasis on
inter-ministerial synergy to deliver large-scale digital transformation
projects, with the education sector identified as a priority area for
innovation and national development.
