The Africa Centres for
Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) is supporting the digital
transformation of the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire du Cinquantenaire in
Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, as part of efforts to strengthen health
systems across the continent.
Working through its
digitalisation specialists and in collaboration with NAZOUNKI and the Agence
Nationale d’Ingénierie Clinique et du Numérique de la Santé (ANICNS), Africa
CDC is helping to deploy advanced health information systems aimed at improving
service delivery and operational efficiency.

The initiative focuses on
enhancing data management, strengthening decision-making processes, and
improving overall health security through the adoption of digital tools.
Officials say the project is part of broader efforts to modernise healthcare
infrastructure and build more resilient and responsive health systems in the
region.
