iXAfrica Data Centres has hosted a high-level delegation
from the U.S. Embassy in Kenya and Oracle at
its Nairobi campus, in a visit that underscores the growing importance of
Kenya’s digital infrastructure ecosystem.
The delegation was led by Susan M. Burns, Chargé d’Affaires at the U.S.
Embassy in Kenya, alongside Oracle representatives including David Bunei, Annick
Sakho and Anien Coetzee. They were
received by the iXAfrica team led by Snehar Shah,
who guided the visitors through a comprehensive site tour and briefing on the
facility’s capabilities.

The visit highlighted the increasing
role of strategic partnerships in advancing cloud computing, artificial
intelligence and enterprise technology infrastructure across East Africa.
Stakeholders noted that as demand grows for resilient, scalable and AI-ready
infrastructure, data centres are becoming central to enabling digital
transformation in the region.
iXAfrica Data Centres said it remains
focused on supporting the platforms and collaborations required to drive
innovation and meet the evolving needs of businesses and governments. The
company added that Kenya continues to position itself as a key technology hub
in East Africa, supported by sustained investment in digital infrastructure.

The
engagement reflects broader confidence in the country’s ability to support
next-generation digital services and its expanding role within the regional
technology landscape.
