Egypt
and Finland have reaffirmed their commitment to deepening collaboration in
digital transformation and emerging technologies during the Egypt–Finland
Business Forum.
The
forum, held in the presence of Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and
Finland’s President Alexander Stubb, brought together stakeholders from
government and industry to explore opportunities for joint growth and
innovation.

Discussions
focused on strengthening partnerships in key areas including digital
transformation, artificial intelligence, and the development of future-ready
industries. Officials highlighted Egypt’s growing role as a regional hub for
digital services, supported by its talent base, market scale, and expanding
infrastructure.
Finland’s
expertise in technology and innovation was identified as a complementary
strength, positioning both countries to benefit from enhanced cooperation and
knowledge exchange.

Representatives
from the Information Technology Industry Development Agency participated in the
forum, with Mahmoud Sofrata contributing to discussions on reinforcing Egypt’s
position as a destination for global digital operations.
The
engagement reflects a broader effort by both countries to leverage
international partnerships in advancing digital economies and unlocking new
opportunities in the global technology landscape.
