Absa
Group has reinforced its customer-centric strategy through a leadership visit
to its Fordsburg Branch, aimed at deepening engagement with frontline
operations and improving service delivery.
The
visit was led by Group Chief Executive Officer Kenny Fihla and the Chief
Executive for Personal and Private Banking, Sitoyo Lopokoiyit, marking his
first branch engagement since joining the bank.
During
the engagement, the leadership team interacted with branch employees and
reviewed day-to-day operations, gaining insights into how staff are delivering
tailored banking solutions while responding to evolving customer needs.
The
visit forms part of Absa’s broader strategy to strengthen a culture of empathy,
accountability and operational excellence by ensuring that leadership remains
closely connected to customer experience at the branch level.
According
to the group, direct engagement with frontline teams continues to play a key
role in shaping decisions that place customers at the centre of its banking
operations.
