The Executive Secretary of
the Communications Regulators’ Association of Southern Africa (CRASA), Dr Stanley
Shanapinda, has paid a courtesy visit to Helena Fernandes, Chairperson of the
Board of Directors of the Instituto Nacional de Comunicações de Moçambique
(INCM), to reinforce regional cooperation in electronic communications
regulation.
The meeting coincided with
the CRASA Electronic Communications Committee Workshop and Meeting, hosted by
Mozambique.
Shanapinda was accompanied
by CRASA Head of Electronic Communications Shukya J. Kiroga, while Fernandes
was joined by Massingue Apala, the INCM board member responsible for Market
Regulation and Statistics.
The engagement reflects the
strong institutional ties between CRASA and INCM and the continued importance
of collaboration among member states in advancing regional cooperation and
harmonisation of electronic communications regulation across Southern Africa.
The meeting took place as
regional regulators gathered in Mozambique for discussions under CRASA’s
Electronic Communications Committee.
