Orange Cameroon has
presented communication equipment valued at FCFA 32 million to the Indomitable
Lionesses in recognition of their success at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The telecommunications
operator made the donation during a ceremony to celebrate the Cameroon women’s
national team following their victory over Malawi in the final of the
competition.
The equipment is part of
Orange Cameroon’s continued support for women’s football in the country and its
efforts to contribute to initiatives that promote and celebrate the
achievements of Cameroonian athletes.
The company said the gesture
was intended to honour the Indomitable Lionesses for their performance
throughout the tournament and the excitement generated among supporters.
The presentation of the
equipment provides further recognition for the Lionesses’ achievement and their
contribution to raising the profile of women’s football in the country.
