Entrepreneurs participating in the Fidelity Bank Ghana and ALX Orange Inspire Creative Cohort 2 have gained exposure to the technology and startup ecosystem through an industry immersion visit to Google Ghana’s Accra office.

The visit formed part of the programme’s efforts to equip creative entrepreneurs with practical industry knowledge and insights to strengthen their businesses and compete in Ghana’s growing digital economy.

During the engagement, the entrepreneurs participated in a panel discussion featuring Perry Nelson, Country Manager and Research Lead at Google Ghana, and Emily Fiagbedzi, Startups Programs Director at MEST Africa.

The programme also included a practical session led by Joshua Cleopas on the use of artificial intelligence tools for creative businesses. The session introduced participants to ways emerging technologies can be incorporated into creative processes and business operations.

The engagement provided the entrepreneurs with an opportunity to interact directly with industry leaders and gain perspectives on technology, entrepreneurship, innovation and business growth.

Organisers said the experience broadened participants’ understanding of the opportunities available to creative businesses and encouraged them to consider new approaches to building competitive enterprises in Ghana and across Africa.
