The Agence Nationale des Infrastructures Numériques et des Fréquences (ANINF) has opened its offices to children of employees as part of activities leading up to Gabon’s August 17 celebrations, giving young visitors an opportunity to learn about the country’s digital sector and the work of their parents.

The initiative, held on August 12, 2026, at the ANINF Tower, was organised under the theme “Digital technology connects us, people bring us together.”

The programme allowed the children to experience the professional environment of their parents and discover some of the roles and activities contributing to the development of Gabon’s digital ecosystem.

The visit was designed to help the young participants better understand the professions shaping the country’s digital transformation while highlighting the human contribution behind technological innovation.

The initiative reflects ANINF’s emphasis on human capital as a key component of digital development and aligns with President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema’s focus on developing the country’s human resources as a foundation for national progress.

Led by ANINF Director General Alberto Mounguengui Moudoki, the activity also provided an opportunity for the agency to strengthen relationships among employees and their families while promoting knowledge sharing and intergenerational engagement.

ANINF said the initiative forms part of a broader week of activities centred on sharing, proximity and transmission, reinforcing the agency’s view that technology achieves its full impact through the people who develop, manage and use it.
