Gabon’s National Agency for Digital Infrastructure and Frequencies (ANINF) and the National Health Insurance and Social Guarantee Fund (CNAMGS) have taken another step in their digital transformation partnership with the completion and official submission of an audit of CNAMGS’s information systems.

The development comes three months after the two institutions signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening cooperation on digital transformation and improving the effectiveness of public services.

The audit examined key elements underpinning CNAMGS’s information systems and highlighted the importance of people, data and infrastructure in building reliable and efficient digital services.

The findings emphasised the role of human capacity in driving digital adoption, decision-making and organisational transformation. They also identified data as a critical asset that must remain available, secure, reliable and usable, while robust digital infrastructure is essential to ensuring service availability, continuity and performance.

ANINF said the exercise reinforces its strategic role as a technical partner to Gabon’s public administration as the country pursues broader digital transformation and digital sovereignty.

Under the leadership of Director General Alberto Mounguengui Moudoki, the agency continues to provide technical expertise and support to public institutions seeking to modernise their information systems and strengthen the reliability of digital services.

The completion of the audit is expected to provide a basis for further action to strengthen CNAMGS’s digital systems and improve the delivery of services to citizens.
