MobiCare, led by Dr. Abdullah Osman Koroma, has emerged as the grand prize winner of the 2026 Orange Social Venture Prize (OSVP) in Sierra Leone, securing NLe 200,000 for its innovation.

The announcement was made during the eighth edition of the OSVP Pitch Night hosted by Orange Sierra Leone, bringing together entrepreneurs and innovators to showcase technology-driven solutions aimed at addressing social and economic challenges.

Mi Fam, led by Fatmata Mariama Koroma, won the Women’s Prize and received NLe 120,000 in recognition of its innovation and leadership.

The competition provided a platform for Sierra Leonean entrepreneurs to present their ideas and demonstrate how their ventures can contribute to inclusive and sustainable development.

The Pitch Night was attended by Deputy Minister of Technical and Higher Education Sarjoh Aziz Kamara, Orange Sierra Leone Chief Executive Officer Aïcha Touré and Chargé d’Affaires of France Jean Lamy.

The OSVP forms part of Orange’s broader efforts to support entrepreneurs and social innovators across its operating markets by providing funding and visibility to ventures developing solutions with potential social and economic impact.

Orange Sierra Leone congratulated the winners and finalists, recognising their contribution to building a more innovative, inclusive and sustainable future for the country.
