Vodacom Lesotho has been unveiled as a partner in the Lesotho Tourism Development Corporation’s Re Bontše Lesotho campaign, supporting efforts to promote the country’s tourism sector through youth-driven digital storytelling.

As part of the partnership, Vodacom Lesotho has adopted Maseru District, contributing to a nationwide initiative that encourages young Basotho content creators to showcase the country’s culture, heritage, landscapes, and tourism attractions through digital platforms.

Maseru, the nation’s capital and a key gateway into the Mountain Kingdom, was selected for its rich blend of history, culture, commerce, cuisine, outdoor experiences, and national significance.

The partnership aims to empower young creators to use digital tools and connectivity to produce authentic content that promotes Lesotho as a tourism destination while fostering national pride and creating opportunities for youth participation in the tourism economy.

Vodacom Lesotho said the initiative reflects its commitment to supporting digital innovation and enabling local communities to tell their own stories through technology.

The Re Bontše Lesotho campaign is designed to increase the visibility of the country’s tourism assets by encouraging locally produced digital content that can reach both domestic and international audiences.
