The Kenya Space Agency (KSA) has reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing the next generation of scientists and innovators following an inspiring address delivered at a graduation ceremony in Nairobi.

The Director General of the Kenya Space Agency, Maj Gen Hillary Kipkosgey, delivered the keynote address, at the Shree Cutch Satsang Swaminarayan Academy during the graduation ceremony for Year 11 and Year 13 students.

In his remarks, Maj Gen Kipkosgey congratulated the Class of 2026, commending their academic achievement, resilience, and dedication throughout their educational journey. He also acknowledged the contributions of parents, teachers, and the wider school community in supporting and guiding the students to successful completion of their studies.

He highlighted the ongoing collaboration between the Kenya Space Agency and the Academy through the Space Clubs Initiative, which introduces learners to foundational and emerging fields in space science, including astronomy, Earth observation, and satellite technologies.

According to him, such initiatives are critical in building interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), while also preparing young people for future opportunities in the space sector and related industries.

Maj Gen Kipkosgey encouraged the graduands to pursue their aspirations with confidence and determination, emphasizing that their potential is not limited by conventional boundaries.

He further noted that the Kenya Space Agency’s guiding motto, “Endless Possibilities,” reflects the expanding opportunities available to young people who are willing to innovate, dream boldly, and strive for excellence in their chosen paths.
