Bayobab has announced the appointment of Wanita Ramsubak as General Manager: Digital Infrastructure Planning and Integration, effective 1 May 2026.

In her new role, Ramsubak will report to Mazen Mroué and will be responsible for strengthening strategic planning and integration across the company’s digital infrastructure portfolio.

Ramsubak brings extensive experience across the telecommunications sector, spanning wholesale, enterprise, fixed, and mobile operations across Africa, the Middle East, and the Americas. She joined MTN Group in 2018 as Senior Manager: Group Strategy and Transformation and most recently served as General Manager: Technology Infrastructure.

During her tenure, she has led several key initiatives including the development of MTN Group’s Science-Based Emissions Target under its Project Zero (Net Zero) strategy, as well as programmes focused on energy efficiency, infrastructure optimisation, and sustainability. She has also contributed to TowerCo engagements, infrastructure monetisation strategies, and data centre resilience planning.

Before joining MTN, she worked at Delta Partners, where she rose to Team Lead, advising on strategic and operational transformation projects across multiple markets in the telecommunications and technology sector.

Commenting on the appointment, Mazen Mroué said Ramsubak’s expertise in infrastructure strategy, sustainability, and operational execution will be instrumental in advancing the company’s Ambition 2030 objectives and unlocking greater value across its infrastructure assets.

Bayobab continues to position itself as a leading digital infrastructure provider in Africa, focusing on connectivity expansion and technology-driven transformation across the continent.
