Yas Togo, in partnership with the AXIAN Foundation, has inaugurated a new school building under the NUNYA Yas Togo education programme, reinforcing efforts to improve access to quality education and learning conditions in Togo.

The inauguration ceremony, held more than 400 kilometres from Lomé, was led by the Director of Internal Communications, QWL & Impacts, who represented the Director General. During the event, the new infrastructure was officially handed over to beneficiaries, with a renewed commitment to supporting education and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals.

The new facility is expected to directly benefit more than 311 students, providing improved learning environments designed to enhance academic performance and student wellbeing.

According to the organisers, the NUNYA Yas Togo programme continues to play a key role in upgrading educational infrastructure across multiple regions in the country. Previous interventions have supported schools including EPP Toutougou in Dapaong, EPP Madjikpéto in Lomé, EPP Agbandi Zongo in Blitta 2, EPP Kolowaré in Sokodé, EPP Amavénou in Agou 2, EPP Adétikopé in Agoè-Nyivé 6, EPP Kadjalé 2 in Tchamba, and EPP Kinzi in Kara.

The programme focuses on providing modern, safe, and well-equipped learning spaces aimed at improving access to quality education for children across Togo. It also seeks to address infrastructure gaps in underserved communities while supporting long-term educational development.

Yas Togo and the AXIAN Foundation reaffirmed their commitment to expanding the initiative, stating that continued investment in education remains central to their social impact strategy and broader contribution to national development goals.
