Vodafone
Egypt has secured multiple awards at the recent OneEA community gathering held
in South Africa, highlighting the company’s contributions to internal
communications, digital transformation, and employee engagement across markets.
The
event brought together teams from across the Vodafone footprint under the OneEA
initiative, fostering collaboration among participants from diverse cultural
and operational backgrounds. Vodafone Egypt emerged as a strong contender, with
several team members receiving individual recognition for their contributions.
Among
those honoured were May Yassin, Tamer M. Basha, and Ayman ElSaadany, who were
acknowledged for their roles in advancing key initiatives within the
organisation. The company’s External Affairs team also received commendation
for its visibility and participation throughout the event.
The
awards further recognized Vodafone Egypt’s efforts to enhance the digital
employee experience, including the development of internal platforms and
communication strategies aimed at improving engagement and workplace
satisfaction.
This
year’s gathering also featured a partnership with Vodacom Group, which helped
integrate discussions around internal communications and employee experience
into the broader programme. The collaboration underscored a shared commitment
to strengthening organisational culture and aligning teams across regions.
Participants
described the event as an opportunity to deepen cross-market connections and
exchange best practices, reinforcing the “From Cape to Cairo” vision of
collaboration across the continent.
The
OneEA community continues to serve as a platform for knowledge sharing and
innovation within Vodafone, with the latest event reflecting growing emphasis
on digital transformation and employee-centric strategies across its African
operations.
