Lenovo,
through its subsidiary Motorola Mobility, has launched a limited-edition
foldable smartphone to mark the FIFA World Cup 2026, in collaboration with
regional telecom operators Mobily and e&.
The
device, a special edition of the Motorola Razr foldable smartphone, was
unveiled in Riyadh, with its launch highlighted by a projection on the Kingdom
Centre Tower, one of the city’s most iconic landmarks.

The
rollout follows the signing of new cooperation agreements between Lenovo and
Mobily, aimed at strengthening distribution and expanding access to premium
devices across the region.
As
part of the launch, the partners announced an exclusive offer for early
adopters, with the first 1,000 devices sold through Mobily’s digital platforms
bundled with tickets to the FIFA World Cup 2026, which will be hosted across
Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

Motorola,
the official smartphone partner of the tournament, is positioning the device as
a showcase of its latest advancements in foldable technology, combining design,
performance, and immersive user experiences tailored for global sports fans.
The collaboration highlights a broader strategy
to integrate global innovation with regional market expertise, leveraging local
distribution networks to bring premium technology products closer to consumers
in the Middle East.
