The
Minister of National Education, Literacy and Technical Education, N'Guessan
Koffi, has held discussions with Sandra Choufani as part of ongoing cooperation
between Côte d’Ivoire and Canada in the education sector.
The
meeting, which took place in Abidjan, focused on the Support Project for
Administrative Governance and Decentralization (PAGAD), an initiative aimed at
strengthening public policy development through evidence-based strategies.

The
Canadian delegation, led by Ambassador Choufani, presented updates on the
project and sought continued collaboration to advance its implementation,
particularly in enhancing governance systems within the education sector.
During
the discussions, Minister Koffi reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the
initiative, emphasizing the importance of reliable data in shaping effective
development policies.

The
engagement reflects broader efforts by Côte d’Ivoire and Canada to deepen
bilateral cooperation in education and institutional capacity building, with a
focus on improving governance and decision-making processes.
