Lenovo has officially inaugurated its Middle East, Türkiye and Africa regional headquarters in Riyadh, marking a significant step in the company’s regional expansion and Saudi Arabia’s positioning as a global technology hub.

The new headquarters, located in Majdoul Tower, was unveiled during a ceremony attended by senior government officials and industry leaders, including the Minister of Investment at the Ministry of Investment, Fahad bin Abduljalil Al-Saif and the SVP & President of Lenovo Middle East, Turkey and Africa, Tareq Al Angari. Their remarks underscored the Kingdom’s accelerating efforts to attract global technology companies and foster a competitive innovation ecosystem.

Speaking at the event, the President of Lenovo Middle East, Turkey and Africa, Tareq Al Angari highlighted the broader significance of the development, noting that Saudi Arabia is increasingly being viewed not only as a market for technology deployment but as a base for building and scaling innovation.

The establishment of Lenovo’s regional headquarters reflects growing confidence among multinational firms in Saudi Arabia’s economic transformation agenda, particularly as the country advances initiatives aligned with its Vision 2030 strategy.

Industry stakeholders say the move is expected to enhance regional operations, support digital transformation efforts, and create opportunities for collaboration across the technology ecosystem, including potential partnerships with emerging players such as HUMAIN.
