Angola’s
Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social
Communication, through the National Space Program Management Office, has seen
37 companies express interest in joining the Conecta Angola Comercial project,
a national initiative aimed at expanding satellite internet connectivity across
the country.

Recent
working meetings with companies including SpeedNet, Netservice, and TechGolden
focused on presenting business opportunities linked to the capacity of the
ANGOSAT-2 satellite.
The
initiative seeks to mobilize the private sector to commercialize satellite
internet services, targeting remote areas to promote digital inclusion,
entrepreneurship, and economic growth.
