The
African Union has held a high-level bilateral meeting with Chinese
representatives to advance preparations for the upcoming China-Africa
Entrepreneurs Forum scheduled for April 21, 2026, at the AU Headquarters.
The
discussions were led by Francisca Tatchouop Belobe and Jiang Feng, focusing on
strengthening coordination and ensuring the success of the forum.

The
event, themed “Deepening Practical China-Africa Cooperation & Embarking on
a New Journey for Development,” is expected to bring together key stakeholders
to explore opportunities across critical sectors, including infrastructure,
minerals, the digital economy and financial cooperation.
The
forum forms part of broader efforts to deepen economic ties and promote
sustainable development partnerships between Africa and China.
