Sierra Leone ministers align on Felei TechCity Development at high-level roundtable

Government ministers convened a high-level roundtable to review progress on Felei TechCity, the country’s flagship 130-acre Special Economic Zone dedicated to technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. The meeting focused on coordinating efforts across sectors and establishing a proposed Ministerial Steering Committee to guide implementation.

Participants included Honorable Ministers Dr. Haja Ramatulai Wurie of Technical and Higher Education, Madam Nabeela Tunis of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Mr. Conrad Sackey of Basic and Senior Secondary Education, and Madam Phylis Kormoh, Deputy Minister of Lands, Housing and Country Planning, along with representatives from the Ministry of Local Government and the Ministry of Justice.

Ministers discussed their respective roles in advancing Felei TechCity, demonstrating a whole-of-government approach aimed at ensuring coordinated delivery and achieving the project’s vision as a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship in Sierra Leone.
