of the Republic of Namibia, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, has announced the
appointment of Hon. Wenzel Kavaka as Deputy Minister of the Ministry of
Information and Communication Technology. The appointment is part of broader
efforts to strengthen the Executive and enhance government service delivery.

Speaking
at State House, the President noted that the new appointments, largely drawn
from the National Council, reflect the mandate given by Namibian voters during
the 2025 Regional Councils and Local Authorities Elections and aim to broaden
inclusive leadership within the Executive.

Following
the announcement, Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Hon.
Emma Theofelus, met with Deputy Minister Kavaka to extend a warm welcome and
congratulations on his appointment.
