MTN Côte d’Ivoire advances e-waste recycling in line with ESG commitments

Côte d’Ivoire has reinforced its environmental sustainability efforts by
responsibly removing Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (D3E) in
collaboration with SATEM, an approved partner specializing in the collection,
sorting, and recycling of electronic waste.
This initiative forms part of MTN CI’s ongoing
Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy, aimed at reducing the
ecological footprint of its operations while promoting the responsible
management of end-of-life equipment. Through its E-Waste Management program,
the company contributes to the circular economy and resource preservation.
By
integrating sustainable practices into its operations, MTN Côte d’Ivoire
emphasizes its commitment to creating a cleaner, safer, and more resilient
environment for the communities it serves.
