The
Autorité de Régulation des TIC de Côte d'Ivoire
has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting an inclusive digital economy
following a high-level meeting with the country’s Minister of Digital
Transition and Technological Innovation, Djibril
Ouattara.

The delegation, led by Director General Lakoun Ouattara, was received by Mr.
Ouattara to discuss key priorities for the development of Côte
d’Ivoire’s digital sector.
During the meeting, officials commended Fleur Régina Bessou, Technical Advisor to the
Director General, on her election as Chair of the International
Telecommunication Union’s Telecommunication Development Advisory Group (TDAG),
as well as her recent Leadership Award from the Observatory for the Promotion
of Good Governance.

Discussions also focused on advancing
digital inclusion and strengthening women’s leadership within the technology
sector, areas identified as critical to the country’s digital transformation
agenda.
ARTCI
noted that the engagement reflects ongoing efforts to build a dynamic,
inclusive and forward-looking digital economy in Côte d’Ivoire.
