The Autorité de Régulation des TIC de Côte d'Ivoire has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting an inclusive digital economy following a high-level meeting with the country’s Minister of Digital Transition and Technological Innovation, Djibril Ouattara.

The delegation, led by Director General Lakoun Ouattara, was received by Mr. Ouattara to discuss key priorities for the development of Côte d’Ivoire’s digital sector.

During the meeting, officials commended Fleur Régina Bessou, Technical Advisor to the Director General, on her election as Chair of the International Telecommunication Union’s Telecommunication Development Advisory Group (TDAG), as well as her recent Leadership Award from the Observatory for the Promotion of Good Governance.

Discussions also focused on advancing digital inclusion and strengthening women’s leadership within the technology sector, areas identified as critical to the country’s digital transformation agenda.

ARTCI noted that the engagement reflects ongoing efforts to build a dynamic, inclusive and forward-looking digital economy in Côte d’Ivoire.
