Ethiopian AI Institute signs partnership with Wadhwani AI Global

The
Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute (EAII) has signed a Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU) with Wadhwani AI Global, an Indian institution specializing
in artificial intelligence research and development, to strengthen
collaboration on AI initiatives.
At
the signing ceremony, EAII Director General Worku Gachena highlighted the
growing strategic partnership between Ethiopia and India under the leadership
of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Daksh
Bhardwaj, CEO of Wadhwani AI Global, expressed enthusiasm for the agreement,
noting that the MoU provides a framework for joint efforts to advance
technological innovation and promote practical applications of AI solutions.
The
partnership is expected to foster knowledge exchange, joint research, and
initiatives aimed at enhancing AI capabilities in both countries.
