The
Ministry of ICT Eswatini has participated in the Mpaka High School Career Expo
as part of efforts to promote science, technology, engineering, and mathematics
(STEM) education among young people.

Through
its Department of Research, Science, Technology and Innovation (RSTI), the
ministry engaged students on the importance of STEM disciplines in driving
innovation, economic growth, and national development.
The
outreach also placed strong emphasis on encouraging young girls to pursue
careers in science and technology, highlighting their critical role in shaping
the future of innovation.

Officials
noted that the initiative provided an opportunity to inspire learners and
expose them to career pathways in the digital and technology sectors, while
fostering interest in skills essential for the country’s development.
The
event brought together students and educators in an interactive environment
aimed at nurturing curiosity and unlocking the potential of Eswatini’s youth.
