Niger’s Communication Minister visits Zamani Telecom to boost digital transformation

Niger’s
Minister of Communication and New Information Technologies, Adji Ali Salatou, has
conducted a working visit to Zamani Telecom to engage with the company’s
management on sector challenges, investment opportunities, and strategies to
enhance private sector contribution to the country’s ongoing digital
transformation.
During
the visit, the Minister reviewed Zamani Telecom’s technical infrastructure,
including its data center, and discussed ways to strengthen the operator’s role
in supporting Niger’s digital economy.
The
engagement forms part of broader efforts to align private sector capabilities
with national initiatives aimed at expanding connectivity and technological
development.
