Mobile Money Uganda has donated a school van to Lucky Kids Academy in
Bweyogerere as part of its “Win School Fees for a Year & More” campaign,
aimed at promoting digital payments and supporting education.
The
initiative is designed to encourage the adoption of digital payment systems for
school fees while easing financial pressure on families and improving
operational efficiency for schools.

During
the handover, Chief Product Officer Jemima Kariuki-Njuguna emphasized the
importance of education in shaping communities and noted that the campaign
helps schools transition to safer and more reliable payment systems. She added
that the initiative also provides practical support, including resources such
as the school van, to benefit learners and institutions.
The
Principal of Lucky Kids Academy, Nandawula Fatumah Batenda, welcomed the
donation, highlighting its role in supporting student transportation for
co-curricular activities and school programmes.

MoMo Uganda stated that the campaign reflects its broader commitment to
enhancing access to education while leveraging digital financial solutions to
improve everyday transactions for parents and schools.
