The Deputy General
Coordinator of CCPE’ZON has participated in a national forum focused on
protecting children from the risks associated with digital technology,
highlighting ongoing efforts to promote safer online environments for young
people in Gabon.

The forum, organized under
the leadership of the Agence Nationale des Infrastructures Numériques et des
Fréquences (ANINF), brought together stakeholders to address challenges related
to cybersecurity and child protection in the digital age. The initiative
underscored the importance of equipping young people with the skills needed to
navigate online spaces safely.
Participants noted the
progress of youth-focused programmes, including cybersecurity training
initiatives that are supporting the development of digital skills among
learners. The engagement forms part of broader efforts to empower young people
and integrate them into the country’s evolving digital ecosystem.

The project is also
supported through partnerships involving local institutions and initiatives
championed by national leadership, aimed at promoting inclusion and creating
opportunities for youth development.
